
Sarah Khan as an artist has journeyed from her formal graduate studies as an Economist in International Trade to the world of floral. With an innate desire to work with her hands, she found her calling in creating beautiful works of art with fresh flowers as the medium. Featured in renowned publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Washingtonian, Modern Luxury Weddings and Martha Stewart Weddings to name a few, Sarah Khan's work has earned wide recognition for its artistry and innovation. She was a finalist on the hit HBO series Full Bloom, where she showcased her ability to take thoughts and ideas and transform them into an immersive experience.
A passionate educator, Khan has taught for the New York Botanical Gardens and continues to curate courses available through her studio. Her floristry has graced prestigious venues like the Plaza Hotel and Cipriani in New York, various museums including the National Portrait Gallery as well as iconic DC venues, such as the Andrew Mellon Auditorium. Khan believes in creating with intention and letting her intuition guide the process. Trusting oneself is, in her view, the most thrilling and courageous part of the creative journey, which ultimately leads to pieces that are deeply loved and cherished by her wedding and event clients and patrons of the arts. For her, floral design is not only an art form but a lifelong exploration of the definition of beauty and personal growth.
• What are your prices?
The needs of every client vary and for that reason we focus more on the overall budget rather than the individual price of items and provide clients with a minimum spend.
At this time, our minimum is $10,000 per day or $7,500 per event after two events.
• What does your minimum include?
Because the needs of every client vary, the minimum is provided as a guideline on what to expect to spend at the least in order to produce an event based on our standards. So this minimum can include anything you need within the realm of our services.
• What services do you provide?
We are a floral and production company that designs the visual experience for an event. Through our company we provide all backdrops, florals, centerpieces, furniture selections, custom builds to support decor and as needed will consult on various other services to ensure a cohesive visual aesthetic. Services outside of ours include but are not limited to: linen, napkin, charger plate, table top and chair rentals, dance floor wrap, room drape, lighting and stationary as well.
• What is your process?
After submitting an inquiry through our website, we schedule a phone consultation with our creative director to build a proposal, with a swift turn around, we provide an estimate of what we suggest your spend should be based on your needs. If you are in alignment with the proposal you would submit a partial deposit to book the date and schedule your initial design meeting in which you design in person directly with our Creative Director.
• Do you do wedding planning?
We specialize in floral and event design and heavily rely on our creative partners in particular the wedding and event planners, we do not provide planning in house. The most successful events we see are the ones where the client has booked partial or full planning services.
• Do you travel for weddings?
