Cityscape Views for this Rooftop Ceremony & Reception
This wedding had views of Baltimore from the Legg Mason building at the inner harbor. We created a custom lilac colored Mandap sitting against a backdrop of floor to ceiling windows for an afternoon ceremony. The front of the mandap was lined with silk ribbons ending in orchid blooms alternating with silk ribbons embellished with mirrored crystals and gold gilded greens in the florals. The aisle was lined with hanging white lanterns with hand-wired fresh gilded greens and blooms in lilac and blush.
As the bride and groom’s guests transitioned to their reception, the room was laid out with one grand estate table and round guest tables. The estate table was lined with a combination of blush and lilac floral arrangements, white lanterns, and lotus candle holders. One of our favorite fresh details was the bright orange kumquats as part of a centerpiece! This centerpiece featured a white-washed carved tray with smaller white lanterns and lavender bud vase arrangements, and of course the fruit of the day. This paired perfectly with our transition of the hanging lanterns from aisle to tabletop as a taller centerpiece. In a palette of lavender and soft pinks, the use of white lanterns throughout the day added an airy element, which stole the show for us. We know you’ll love these photos and want to pin some for your own inspiration.
